Harriet Tubman: Love Slave — A Revolutionary Hip-Hop Theatre Experience at Let Live Theatre @ The Actor's Company

Harriet Tubman: Love Slave — Black History Month Hollywood Engagement

Following national conversation and viral coverage on CNN, Harriet Tubman: Love Slave arrives in Hollywood for a limited Black History Month theatrical engagement created by Los Angeles producer and digital strategist Terrell M. Green.

Blending hip-hop, spoken word, and contemporary theatrical storytelling, the production reexamines Harriet Tubman through a deeply human lens, exploring love, resistance, faith, and survival alongside her husband, John Tubman. Challenging traditional historical narratives, the work invites audiences to reconsider how American heroes are remembered — and who gets to tell their stories.

Independently produced by 267 Productions Co., Harriet Tubman: Love Slave has sparked national dialogue surrounding history, artistic interpretation, and cultural memory.

Limited performances in Hollywood — Black History Month only.

Content Warning: This production contains mature themes including depictions of slavery, racial violence, coercion, and discussions of bodily autonomy, and presents a historical figure through a contemporary artistic interpretation that some audiences may find provocative.
