Enormous Things: The Musical is a bio-musical about real-life sculptor Claes Oldenburg, reimagined as a man who creates enormous sculptures because he is in love with and inspired by a giant named Claramonde. When they are separated, Oldenburg seeks help from sculptor friends including Yayoi Kusama, Michelangelo, Alexander Calder, and the villainous Jeff Koons to reclaim his love and inspiration. Written and directed by Sarah Lew and Chris Gale, and executive produced by Alex Hirsch, the show features Chris Gale as Claes Oldenburg, Molly Balloons as Jeff Koons, Anna Cooper as Claramonde, Jonny Cruz as Michelangelo, and Lulu Lam as Yayoi Kusama, among others. Most of the set and visual elements are constructed from cardboard.
