The Music Centers Dance DTLAreturns to in-person dancing this summer! Event-goers can dance the night away on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center in August and September. Each Friday night features a different dance genre and top L.A. dance instructors providing beginner dance lessons with easy-to-follow steps so guests can hit the dance floor to practice some new moves. Music by local DJs will keep the party vibe going. The Music Center is also partnering with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to host a Mobile Vaccination Clinic on Friday, August 13 and on September 3, 2021 duringDance DTLA. Both the Pfizer (age 12+) and Johnson & Johnson (age 18+) vaccines will be available on both dates. (The COVID-19 vaccine is free to all eligible persons. Immigration status and insurance are not required. Medical information is protected by law.) October 08, 2020 The Music Center today announced it received a $25 million gift from Tina and Jerry Moss to benefit new programming initiatives. With this gift, the arts organization will establish an annual, free summer concert, open to all, to be held outdoors on the newly named Jerry Moss Plaza, located at The Music Center; sustain and enhance The Music Center's commitment to free and low-cost events; and formally launch arts partnerships with community organizations to help uplift artists and their work, with an emphasis on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC ) artists.About the Theatre
