Photo Flash: WHBPAC Volunteers Honored at Beach Party Luncheon

Over sixty of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center's dedicated volunteers gathered at the Quogue Village Beach Club for a special 15th Anniversary Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon hosted by the WHBPAC's Advisory Council on Tuesday, June 4. The event was organized to honor and celebrate the work and support provided to the theatre by a legion of community volunteers. To salute their efforts, the Volunteer Council was treated to a beach party luncheon at the Quogue Village Beach Club that included a barbeque catered by The Quogue Country Market. ALL STAR COMEDY CLUB at Bay Street Theatre Plays June 17

Susan Lucci to Host Bay Street's ROCK THE DOCK SUMMER BENEFIT BASH, 7/20

The annual 'ROCK THE DOCK' SUMMER BENEFIT BASH on Saturday, July 20, will be hosted by the one and only Susan Lucci. Actor and Bay Street Board Member, Richard Kind, who most recently won the DRAMA DESK AWARD for his role on Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, will be the evening's celebrity auctioneer. Board member Joy Behar also plans on attending, with a host of other surprise celebrities. The gala is being held in honor and memory of the Theatre's founder and former Artistic Director, Sybil Christopher.
Usdan Center to Host Adult Summer Camp USDAN UNIVERSITY, 6/12

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com), Long Island's premier arts camp, will present the 10th Anniversary edition of its unique and fun one-day arts camp experience for adults, Usdan University. Long Island Shakespeare Festival to Present Free Performances of ROMEO & JULIET, 7/3-14

Suffolk County Community College is pleased to announce that The Long Island Shakespeare Festival will offer free public performances of an abridged version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet during summer 2013. The 13th season performances will be presented, rain or shine, at Suffolk County Community College's Ammerman Campus in Selden. The performances are free to the public and are funded by the Suffolk Community College Association - Ammerman Campus.

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport has announced the Long Island premiere of the musical adaptation of the beloved children's book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. GOODNIGHT MOON is part of the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Youth Theater Series and will run today, June 1st through July 14th.

The North Shore Arts Angels are pleased to announce that 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Kate McKinnon will be appearing in the upcoming ',' a one night only fund raising event celebrating one half a century of her school's drama troupe. McKinnon will be joining over 140 other alumni from North Shore High School on stage to celebrate five decades of Masquers history and raise funds to revive the district's now defunct Summer Theater Workshop on June 15.

The Minstrel Players Theatre Company of Northport Village are holding their second One Act Play Festival entitled --- IT HAPPENED ONE ACT - II'. They are coming off their successful Spring staging of 'The Butler Did It, Again!'. Performances will be one weekend only on Saturday, July 27th at 8 P.M and a 3 P.M. matinee performance on Sunday, July 28th at Houghton Hall - Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village.
