The Warwick Theatre, in the Westport Entertainment District, plays host to Padgett Productions' opening of SWEENEY TODD, THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET through June 26. The Stephen Sondheim musical is one of the most elaborate productions I have ever seen Nick Padgett undertake, and he brings it to life with unmatched brilliance. The only regret anyone should have about this magnificent show is if you miss seeing it at The Warwick.
World Premiere of New Musical ALICE'S WONDERLAND to be Presented at The Coterie

Kansas City Ballet Company Dancer Joshua Kiesel Wins Third Place In Helsinki International Ballet Competition

Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced that Kansas City Ballet Company Dancer Joshua Kiesel has won third place in the Senior Male Division at the Helsinki International Ballet Competition. Mr. Kiesel was the only American to compete in the Senior Male Division (dancers aged 20 to 25). High-res photos can be found here.

Music Theater Heritage has announced the cast and creatives for its upcoming production of Maury Yeston's TITANIC, the Kansas City professional premiere. The production is directed by MTH Artistic Director Tim Scott and features an ensemble cast of nineteen. In a unique twist, the score features new orchestrations comprised of only instruments that were present on the infamous ocean liner, a grand piano and a string quartet.

In advance of the 2022 AdventHealth Broadway Series, Starlight announced local partnerships and programs that create more accessible amenities for audiences to attend performances this season. Working in partnership with the Audio-Reader Network, Starlight will have audio descriptions available for select performances.
