A LANDING LOCAL NEW WORKS PROJECT, UNCHARTED by Brendan Bourque-Sheil is the third new work this season commissioned from local playwrights by The Landing Theatre Company. These compact, immersive micro theatre projects are written for and designed to be performed in homes. UNCHARTED will premiere in a Bed and Breakfast in the Heights. ABOUT THE PLAY: "It's been a few years since PFC Alyssa Fischer buried her father -- an historical reenactor who took his work a little too seriously -- and she's moving on with her life, when she discovers that her dad was a sperm donor and that she has a half-sister, Olivia -- a human rights lawyer, raised by two moms -- who's eager to learn about her mystery father. Their strange first meeting is made stranger when Olivia turns out to have some urgent questions about their shared gene pool that force Alyssa to reevaluate what she knows about her dad and how this new sort-of-sibling fits into her life." Landing Local New Play Initiatives focuses on expanding new works opportunities for local playwrights, and broadening new works experiences for local audiences. Online sales only.
