Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's Show Boat traces the intertwined lives of performers aboard the floating theater Cotton Blossom, navigating decades of love, loss, and prejudice along the Mississippi River. The production by Francesca Zambello features Isabel Leonard in her role debut as Julie, Lauren Snouffer as Magnolia, Edward Nelson as Gaylord Ravenal, and Morris Robinson as Joe. Maestro Patrick Summers, returning to HGO in his new role as Music Director Emeritus, conducts.
