THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW to Take Over TUTS This Fall

By:

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is thrilled to present the original stage version of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, the musical that inspired the iconic 1974 film. Live on stage in Zilkha Hall, November 8-20, 2016.

See O'Brien's theatrical creation come to life on stage with its rock 'n' roll score performed by live musicians. Interact with the actors as they breathe life into your favorite characters without the distraction of a movie screen.

Each scene will leave you shivering with antici...pation.

Directing The Rocky Horror Show is Mitchell Greco. Greco serves as the Artistic Associate at Stages Repertory Theatre and is well known to Houston audiences for his work on shows such as Xanadu, Honky Tonk Angels and Big Fish. This production will mark Greco's TUTS directorial debut.

Sheldon Epps, Artistic Advisor for Theatre Under The Stars says, "I am so pleased to be working with an amazingly talented Houston-based creative team for this show, and to be collaborating with artists from other much respected local arts organizations. For everyone here at TUTS, it is crucial to stay connected to the vast network of talent the city has to offer. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to do exactly that with this production."

Choreographing the production is Kristin Warren who audiences will remember from her work on Murder Ballad. Ryan McGettigan will be responsible for Scenic Design with Costume Design by Colleen Grady.
