The ballet evening Echoes of Time consists of the works of three choreographers from the turn of the century created to energetic contemporary music. All three pieces decompose the traditional order of classical dance delineating new paths of modern ballet. The Brit Ashley Page creates specially for the Polish National Ballet a new choreographic work to John Adams’ music. Krzysztof Pastor captures us with the dance’s pure expression and an original lighting play to the music of Alfred Schnittke and Henryk Miko?aj Górecki. His Moving Rooms have already earlier been a success staged by the Dutch National Ballet during the Holland Festival 2008. Finally, William Forsythe experiments in a creative way with a traditional theatre and ballet convention to Bach’s and Eva Crossman-Hecht’s music presenting his go-getting, virtuosic Artifact Suite.
