BWW Finland: HITLER JA BLONDI ON DOKUMENTAARINEN, BRECHTILÄISYYDELLÄ MAUSTETTU POHDINTA PAHUUDESTA by Rosanna Liuski
BWW arvio: KUKA TAHANSA MEISTÄ, Valtsikan Speksi by Rosanna Liuski
- February 21, 2020 'Speksillä tarkoitetaan opiskelijoiden toteuttamaa musiikkinäytelmää, jossa yhdistyvät draamalliset elementit, musiikki, tanssi, laulu ja improvisaatio. Speksiin kuuluvana improvisaatioelementtinä mukana ovat yleisön omstart-huudot, joiden avulla katsojat voivat vaikuttaa lavan tapahtumiin.' /valtsikanspeksi.com
BWW Review: SAPIENS at the Finnish National Theatre by Rosanna Liuski
- February 12, 2020 Sapiens got its premiere in Autumn 2019 but was so succesfull that it got more shows in Spring 2020. To put it short I totally recommend this experience, especially if you loved the book or if you love the endearing documentaries narrated by Jarmo Heikkinen.
BWW Arvio: HUMISEVA HARJU ravistelee Helsingin Kaupunginteatterilla by Rosanna Liuski
- February 07, 2020 Maijalan ohjauksessa nautittavia yksityiskohtia on lukuisia. Tietynlaisia fyysisiä eleitäkin on rajatusti, mikä tuo selkeyttä ja yhtenäisyyttä esitykseen: sormella tasapainoteltavaa alkoholia, naaman vääntelyä käsillä, lintuja ja niiden höyheniä sekä kiljuntaa.
BWW arvio ja haastattelu: FULL PULL, WOYZECK Teatteri Jurkassa by Rosanna Liuski
- January 29, 2020 Teatteri Jurkan pieni teatteritila on lavastettu olohuonemaisesti. Muuttolaatikoista hohkaa valoa. Lattialla on kasa kirjoja, joissa komeilee suurmiehien nimiä: Loiri, Jussi Parviainen, Tauno Palo, Dostojevski, Stanislavski, Turkka. Turkan kirja on punainen.
BWW Review: YOUTH ON STAGE: ANNIE the musical at Culture House Martinus by Rosanna Liuski
- January 13, 2020 All in all Annie is fairly good musical full of surprises, not to mention its humane approach to life: Magical things can happen to us, but if the little details you've longed for so long don't match, it's more than okay to feel sad, though it might feel wrong in the first hand. In the end, tomorrow's only a day away anyways. I love you, tomorrow... And I love you, Vaskivuori!
BWW Review: FORK ACAPELLA GROUP'S CHAPTER ONE: THE END at Swedish Theatre Of Helsinki by Rosanna Liuski
- November 21, 2019 This was my first time seeing and most of all hearing the FORK acapella group. They started in 1996, so after 22 years of touring they have decided to call it quits. The show had the atmosphere of a funeral in terms of clothing and lighting, but later on after the intermission it rose to celebration, bright colors of beauty and joy of memorial.
BWW Review: FINGERPORI at Helsinki City Theatre by Rosanna Liuski
- November 19, 2019 How would I explain Fingerpori to a non-Finnish person... Fingerpori is a popular and well-liked comic strip that appears in a daily magazine. It follows the life of Heimo (Jari Pehkonen) and his friends and colleagues in Fingerpori-city. The comic plays around mainly with puns, word plays, not forgetting about topical comedy. The creator is Pertti Jarla and the stage version has gotten its premiere in February 2019. I saw it on 12th of November.
BWW Review: VIHAINEN LESKI (THE ANGRY WIDOW) at Helsinki City Theatre by Rosanna Liuski
- November 02, 2019 All in all Vihainen Leski (the Angry Widow) is a fine play that teaches even the younger generation like me what it is like to be older. To me it told the most about friendships, how dreaming goes on in the older days too, and letting go of the past.

Review and Photos: DISNEY'S LITTLE MERMAID PREMIERED AT HELSINKI AND LOOKS MAGICAL by Rosanna Liuski
- September 05, 2019 I step into the auditorium. The awaiting audience is as if underwater already because of the lighting that resembles water. As the show starts, we get the logo of 'The Little Mermaid' projected onto otherwise transparent screen. The music plays the classic tunes, for example Part of Your world. It looks 3D! Two little fish puppets swim and seem to fall in love, guiding us into the under sea world and puppetry.
Kaupunginteatteri Tuo Näyttämölle Lasten Ja Nuorten Näkökulman Ilmastonmuutokseen by BWW News Desk

BWW Haastattelu: Katriina Honkanen, Nainen Rosvojen takana by Rosanna Liuski
- August 12, 2019 Jos ihminen ei anna kaikkeaan lavalla, niin se on tosi surullista, että se pitäisi yrittää ohjaajana sieltä sitten löytää, toteaa Katriina Honkanen

BWW Review: MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS at Suomenlinna by Rosanna Liuski
- July 08, 2019 Murder on the Orient Express is a performance filled with excitement, colorful characters and plot that opens up to the audience bit by bit, just at right times. The performance doesn't leave you could though Suomenlinna could, but surely gets you on an emotional ride if you are just willing to take the train.
BWW Review: FREAKY FRIDAY Musical Hits Samppalinna's Summer Theater, a Scandinavian Premiere! by Rosanna Liuski
- July 06, 2019 Mother and daughter swapping bodies. To me it reminds of the movie filmed in 2003, starred by Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, which was my only reference to the title. Fortunately, from the show's program I was able to read more of its history and was surprised: it's based on a book published in 1972 and has been made into several films and now just a few years back into a musical! (The reasons why the mother and daughter switch places varies quite much depending on the version, so don't except a Chinese restaurant and fortune cookies on this one!)
BWW Review: ROSVOT (ROBBERS) Echoes at Taabori and Stays Resonating in Your Mind and Emotions by Rosanna Liuski
- July 01, 2019 A small moment of silence and a giving of a rhythm and the music starts to bang at Taabori: the huge ensemble and all of the actors gather up in front of us, mouths from the biggest to the smallest ones opening up widely as they sing the Joutomiehia Useless men -song.
