Maija Vilkkumaa Will Come to Huvila in August
The event will take place on 21 August.
One of Finland’s most renowned rock singers and songwriters, Maija Vilkkumaa, brings a concert to Huvila where the audience is not just watching—but actively creating the experience. The event will take place on 21 August.
The first half of this performance (which includes an intermission) is a sing-along set ‘Karaoke’ where fans get to pre-select the songs and sing them together with Vilkkumaa in a karaoke spirit, following the lyrics on a big screen.
This emotional collective singing sets the stage for the second half: a theatrical, full-throttle rock’n’roll show ‘Queen’ with a complete band lineup.
Maija Vilkkumaa, currently enjoying a new peak in her career, released the long-awaited single Karaoke-queen on Friday, February 13th. The single is the first step toward an album of the same name, set to be released in the fall of 2026. At the Huvila concert, the audience will have the chance to enjoy songs from the upcoming album live for the very first time!
