BREAKDOWN

SALVAGE

At a small town dump in the months right before the global pandemic, three lives intersect when Carla, an obsessive compulsive thinker, decides to junk her large collection of mirrors. Amid garbage bags, essential oils and pizza, SALVAGE examines human connection and what happens when we allow ourselves to truly be seen.

Carla -- female presenting, 50s. Obsessive compulsive in the thinking kind of way. Has obsessive thoughts and is desperately trying to figure things out.

Kenny -- male presenting, 40s. Works at the town garbage dump. He is the guy who maybe should have stopped partying in his 30s but didn't.

Elaine -- female presenting, 60s. Works at the dump -- or was she born at the dump? Salt of the earth with the soul of a poet.

In this lively reimagining of the classic, 5 actors of varying gender identities will play all the roles. Actors must be skilled with language and movement, have a strong sense of humor, versatility, and depth of expression.
