SEEKING

Equity chorus singers for roles in ANNIE. Strong actors/singers/movers/dancers for Annie. Actors of all gender identities, ethnicities, ages, and disabilities are strongly encouraged to audition for all roles. Many plays and musicals are written with binary gender terms. While character descriptions may be limited to binary pronouns, we encourage gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender, and non-binary actors to audition for the roles they most identify with.

Auditions for young performers will be held at a later date. All stage manager positions have been filled. All roles will be understudied.

ENSEMBLE – Range of characters including Bert Healy (a radio personality helping Annie by broadcasting about the search for her birth parents), Mansion staff (Drake, Mrs. Greer, Mrs. Pugh), Boylan Sisters, Lt. Ward, Cabinet Members, Hooverville Citizens, etc. Members of the ensemble may understudy principal roles or other ensemble parts. Swings will understudy ensemble tracks.

PREPARATION

Approx. 1 minute cut from your book in the style of or from the show. Bring sheet music cut in your key. Pianist provided. Bring current headshot and resume. You may be asked to stay and dance/move. Please bring comfortable attire for a dance call. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.

Equity Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.
