Colorado Ballet's A Night in Neverland Gala will be held February 6 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. One evening will make an impact that touches lives throughout the entire yeara?"A Night in Neverland Gala will support Colorado Ballet's Education and Community Engagement Programs and Academy Scholarships. The event is being chaired by Brent and Melanie Backes and Ann and Ford Frick.

At long last, Purim is finally getting its due. Jews the world over agree Purim is the a?oefuna?? holiday amidst a long line of more solemn occasions. The holiday celebrates the story of Esther, the Queen of Persia, who saved the Jews from execution by evil Haman, advisor to the king. It all took place around 357 B.C.E., but today's Jews celebrate it with great fanfare in their communities and synagogues. Costumes, parades, music & carnivals are the norm. But aside from Israel and insular communities around synagogues, it never gets the press it's due.  That changes now.

HAMILTON returns to The Buell Theatre August 12-October 4, 2020 as an added attraction to the 2019/20 season. Locked and loaded with computers, loopers, midi controllers, routers, software, mixers, and the latest in music technology, multi-instrumentalist Michael Travis and percussionist/vocalist, Jason Hann have sent a speeding bullet through the electronic dance community due to their innovative 100% improvised approach and as a result, their exclusive sound. Not just a haphazard foray into experimental music, the duo starts their musical adventure from scratch (there are no pre-recorded loops, no backing tracks, and no pre-constructed songs in their live production) building each set, note-by-note, beat by beat, live before the audience as each show explodes into a full-scale dance party.
