With a book by Enda Walsh and music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, Once is based on the acclaimed motion picture written and directed by John Carney. Directed for the stage by Chris Coleman, the musical features a folk‑rock score performed live onstage by the cast.

On the streets of Dublin, a heartbroken Irish songwriter meets a Czech pianist who won’t let him sell his guitar.
