If you liked "Steel Magnolias." you’re going to love this funny. yet touching play about five Southern women who formed strong friendship bonds more than 30 years ago when they were on their college swim team. After their school years, they set aside a long weekend every August to rekindle and connect. As the years pass, their lives take many different directions with families, jobs, hopes and dreams. However, each summer, their lives come together in a beach house on the Outer Banks, and they find that they increasingly rely on one another for the strength needed to get through the challenges of life and aging. Lives change just as swim suit styles do, but the message of the importance of sharing laughter, trust, honesty, and lifelong friendship is timeless.
