Verdi's Rigoletto, originally recorded live at the Winspear Opera House in October 2022, follows Rigoletto, a court jester whose innocent daughter is seduced by the Duke of Mantua, setting off a chain of treachery and revenge. George Gagnidze stars as Rigoletto, René Barbera plays the Duke, and Madison Leonard portrays Gilda in this Tomer Zvulun-directed production. Emmanuel Villaume conducts. The production streams for free on The Dallas Opera's YouTube channel throughout August 2026, with English subtitles.
