Based on the memoirs of the poet's wife Caitlin and his friend John M. Brinnin, this compelling play chronicles Dylan Thomas' final tour of the states with stops along the colleges where he performed, bars that he frequented, and bedrooms in which he dallied, before his untimely death at 39. Playwright Michaels illuminates the personal visions and tragedies of this remarkable poet - intemperate and volatile - the pitfalls and trappings of celebrity culture, and the fiery love affairs of a singing heart.
