Rover Dramawerks presents its annual festival of nine short comedies, selected from over 300 plays submitted blind by playwrights from around the world. The featured works include Housewarning Party, It Sounds Like Science, 37 Origami Bees, The Moment Before, Living Doll, Celestial Bank, Gavin Hammerdúk is All Tálk, Unhealthy Appetites, and My Work Friend's Boyfriend. Each playwright receives $150 in prize money, with an additional $100 awarded to the winner of Best of the Fest as voted by the audience. Performances take place at the Cox Playhouse in historic downtown Plano.
