The Hartt School Community Division Offers Modern Dance Master Class with Katie Stevinson-Nollet, Artistic Director of FFDT

The Hartt School Community Division will offer a Modern Dance Master Class with Katie Stevinson-Nollet, Artistic Director of Full Force Dance Theatre (FFDT), Hartt's dance company in residence, this February. The Class, open to teens 15 and older, as well as adults, will be followed by an in-studio performance by FFDT dancers. The Class will take place on Sunday, February 28, from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM, and the cost is $20 for tickets purchased in advance, and $25 at the door.

Katie Stevinson-Nollet is Artistic Director of Full Force Dance Theatre and associate professor for The Hartt School Dance Division. Her professional experiences as performer and choreographer have taken her across the US and abroad. Katie has danced with San Diego Dance Theatre; Isaacs McCaleb, and Dancers; Carolyn Dorfman and Dancers; and Full Force Dance Theatre. She has enjoyed performing the work of multiple independent choreographers including Monica Bill Barnes, Mary Cochran, and Lisa Race. Ms. Stevinson-Nollet focuses her choreographic interests in collaboration and the exploration of the human condition. Her work has been presented at numerous venues and festivals across the US, Mexico, and Europe.

The Hartt School is the comprehensive performing arts conservatory of the University of Hartford that offers innovative degree programs in music, dance, and theatre.
