Directed by the talented Abraham Adams and featuring a dynamic cast of the Academy's senior and junior students, this production promises to be a highlight of the local cultural calendar.

TARTUFFE unfolds the story of Orgon(Gabe Feinberg), a man blinded by admiration for the pious fraud Tartuffe, played with devious charm by Katherine Quinn. The play is a riotous exploration of deceit and false morality, featuring an unforgettable cast of characters, from the wise Elmire (Samantha Fanger) to the cunning maid Dorine (Taylor Atwara). The production is brought to life with stunning scenic and lighting design by Ben Needham, exquisite period costumes by April Rock, and immersive sound design by Jack Soroka.

Under the guidance of stage manager Katherine Swartzbeck and technical coordinator Lance Switzer, with a dedicated run crew led by Jojo Billson, this production of TARTUFFE not only showcases the talents of the students but also offers them professional training experience behind the scenes. The full cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring this classic to life with a fresh and hilarious twist.

Founded in 2007, the Academy for the Performing Arts is a premiere Career Technical Education (CTE) program, part of the Excel TECC consortium, dedicated to providing high school juniors and seniors with a rigorous and inspiring theatrical training experience.
