Unlock Your Child's Imagination With Fall Acting Classes At Cincinnati Playhouse In The Park

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park invites children ages 3-14 for an immersive experience of inspired learning with a variety of acting classes. Registration is now open for fall classes, which begin in early September.
"Every child has a voice in our programs," explains Daunielle Rasmussen, director of education and community engagement. "Acting classes can build confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop a sense of community."
FALL CLASS SCHEDULE
TALL TALESPre-kindergarten: Saturdays, Sept. 9 - Nov. 4 (no class Sept. 30) at the Playhouse| 10-10:30 a.m.
Pre-kindergarten to kindergarten: Wednesdays, Sept. 6 - Oct. 25 at the Children's Academy of Mason (6956 Cintas Blvd) | 4-4:30 p.m.

$155 What scary surprises await Hansel and Gretel at the witch's house in the original fairy tale? Explore the dark and twisted side of the Grimm Brothers' classic children's stories while working on acting technique and ensemble building.

$245 Strange things keep happening in the town of Sleepy Hollow. Explore the legend of the Headless Horseman as we bring to life select scenes from this classic tale. Enhance your acting, voice and movement skills in this performance-based class. Students will perform scenes on the last day of class for friends and family. The Playhouse is supported by the generosity of more than 40,000 contributors to the ArtsWave Community Campaign. The Ohio Arts Council helps fund the Playhouse with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. The Playhouse also receives funding from the Shubert Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
