The Chicago Tap Summit at Howard Washington Cultural Center

M.A.D.D. Rhythms, Chicago's esteemed tap company, is excited to present this year's Chicago Tap Summit, September 29 - October 1, at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, 4701 S. King Dr. (47th Street entrance).

The 2023 Tap Summit invites participants from Chicago and around the world to celebrate tap dance with three days of discussions, dance, and classes. All of which coincide with Chicago’s “M.A.D.D. Rhythms Day,” October 1, an appreciation of all genres of dance including classes from M.A.D.D. Rhythms Company Members Donatella “LilBit” Jackson (Chicago Footwork), Dave Maxx (Chicago’s Stepping Class) and Imania Detry (African Dance). The Summit will conclude with a performance on Sunday Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. Information and registration are available at MADDRhythms.com.
