Midsommer Flight presents a free production of Shakespeare's comedy LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST in various Chicago parks from June 27 to August 3, 2025. The play follows the King of Navarre, portrayed by Joshua Pennington, and his companions as they attempt to focus on their studies while swearing off women, only to be tempted by the arrival of the Princess of France, played by Vanessa Copeland. Directed by Beth Wolf, this outdoor production will feature a cast of 15 actors, including Travis Ascione, Brandon Beach, and Danielle Kerr, delivering themes of love, desire, and the complexities of youth. Performances will be held over six weekends in six different locations throughout the city.
