Do you love theatre and have a passion for sharing it with others? Consider joining team BroadwayWorld as one of our local contributors!

BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Kathleen Anwar
Kathleen Anwar

Kathleen Anwar graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 with a BA in government and a minor in computer science. During her time there, she performed in the Annual Madrigal Dinner (now in its 40th year) as well as the Madrigal Fall Play Series. She caught the theatre bug at age 10 while performing in The Stories of Scheherazade and has been acting ever since. Kathleen is a program manager for the Chief Security Office at AT&T, and a founding member of Matriarch Financial, LLC: a financial consulting service with women in mind.  She is also earning her MBA with the Gies School of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. 

Kathleen enjoys volunteering, travelling, and her Boston Terrier, Lady! She loves being part of the Dallas theatre community and is continually amazed by the caliber of excellent art that this city produces. 


Patrick Rybarczyk
Patrick Rybarczyk

Patrick Rybarczyk is a Jeff and After Dark Award-winning Chicago based actor. Patrick has worked both on stage and administratively for nearly 25 years with several of Chicago’s leading theatre companies. A native of Ohio, Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Dayton, and a master's degree in digital media and storytelling from Loyola University Chicago.

Rachel Weinberg

Chicago native Rachel Weinberg has been one of the most frequent contributing editors and critics for BroadwayWorld Chicago since joining the team in 2014. She is a marketing professional specialized in content strategy, writing, and editing. Rachel graduated with her Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communication and Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Rachel has worked previously in digital marketing for Goodman Theatre and as a marketing apprentice for Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City. When she’s not at the theater, you can catch her riding up a storm on her Peloton bike, getting lost in a good novel, or sampling desserts at bakeries across the city.
