The 39th Annual Young Playwrights Festival at Pegasus Theatre Chicago showcases the creativity of high school playwrights in Chicago. Running from January 1 to January 24, 2026, the festival features productions of original one-act plays, including works by Sophia Ponce, Clark Tavas, Lola Zimmerman, and Ashley Snyder, each directed by industry professionals. The festival highlights the talent of emerging voices, providing a platform for these young artists to engage with themes relevant to their experiences.
