CPCC Summer Theatre Holds Kids Auditions for Upcoming Shows, 3/22 & 3/23

CPCC Summer Theatre will hold auditions on Monday March 22nd & Tuesday, March 23rd for children ages 6 to 12 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. To audition report to the lobby of the Halton Theater in the Overcash Center on the CPCC Central Campus. No appointments necessary.

Roles are available for children in Into the Woods and A Year With Frog & Toad. Into the Woods needs three kids to play the Three Little Pigs. In Frog and Toad the kids will play baby frogs, birds and mice.. These kids will range in age from 6 up.

Rehearsals for In to the Woods begin May 31 but the kids would join the cast after school ends for the year. Frog and Toad requires the actors to be available for day time rehearsals that will begin in mid- June. Into the Woods performs June 18-26 in the evening. Frog & Toad performs June 30 - July10 at 10:00am.

What is the time commitment?
Summer Theatre generally rehearses during the day on a 9 to 5 schedule. A child cast in a role will be expected to be at rehearsal when called. Generally we spend two weeks rehearsing (this can include weekends) and two weeks in performance. Being in a show is at least a one month commitment.
