The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem will present Rupert Holmes’ The Mystery of Edwin Drood, on Friday, June 5, at the Hanesbrands Theatre, 209 N. Spruce Street in Winston-Salem. Additional performances will be held June 6-7, 11-14, and 18-21. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm. Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. Tickets range from $14.50-$27 for adults (not including taxes/fees), with discounts for students, seniors, and groups of 10 or more. This uproarious whodunit lets you decide the ending as a quirky Victorian theatre troupe brings Dickens’ unfinished, and catchy tunes, it’s a musical adventure like no other! The Mystery of Edwin Drood runs approximately two hours and 30 minutes long, including one 15-minute intermission.
An Opening Night Reception, with complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, courtesy of Raffaldini Vineyards and Compass Financial Services, will be held on Friday, June 5, beginning at 6:30 pm.
