New York-based pianist and composer Nicolas Namoradze is the 2018 winner of Canadas Honens International Piano Competition. In this recital, Namoradze presents a number of cross-temporal musical relationships, including pairing Scriabins Black Mass and J.S. Bachs Sinfonia in F minor, highlighting the intricate polyphony of the textures in Scriabins Sonata and the chromaticism in Bachs Sinfonia. He closes the program with his own etudes and the world premiere of his Arabesque.
