Chenango River Theatre will host its 8th Annual Big Cash Raffle from 6-9pm on Saturday, April 18 at the Genegantslet Golf Club. $9,550 in cash prizes will be awarded to the 7 lucky ticket holders with winning numbers - only 250 tickets will be sold. The Big Cash winner will take home $7,500 stuffed in a big jar. Second place is $1,000 and there are 5 additional cash prizes from $100-$500.

Based on the life of poet Emily Dickinson from 1830 to 1886, set in her Amherst, Massachusetts home, this play makes use of her diaries and letters, recollecting her encounters with the significant people in her life - family, close friends, and acquaintances. It balances the agony of her seclusion with the brief, bright moments when she was able to experience some joy. This one woman performance features Jennifer Burke.

To me, the nomination only means that I must work harder to continue moving forward. It also confirms that the process of Art with a Purpose is effective to me, and my company. It's really a process of growth and it's paying off.
