by BWW News Desk - May 14, 2015
79 year-old Alexandra has pretty much had it with her kids - well, at least two of them.  She's a feisty artist, willing to make a stand and she's rigged her second story brownstone in Brooklyn with homemade Molotov cocktails to try and force her kids to recognize that she's still capable of living on her own.  She'd rather blow up the whole block than move into some kind of "assisted living facility".

SU Drama Presents AVENUE Q, Now thru 5/9
by BWW News Desk - April 24, 2015
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book, Avenue Q is part flesh (people), part felt (puppets) and packed with heart. This long-running Broadway hit is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets Kate (the girl next door), Rod (the Republican), Trekkie (the internet-surfing monster), Lucy the Slut (and proud of it), and a host of quirky neighbors who help Princeton finally discover his purpose in life. A little bit naughty, a lot a bit nice, and with enough satire to satisfy the monster in all of us. Contains mature content and dialogue.

Actor Returning to RCP Stage 60 Years After First Performance
by BWW News Desk - April 09, 2015
February, 1955: 'Is there a doctor in the house?' This, the oldest theatrical cliche, was uttered by Harriet 'Hattie' Warren, after the curtain was rung down during the first act of the opening performance of 'The Flying Geraldos', our 1955 Rotary show (an annual benefit for Rotary's Sunshine Camp). The line got a big laugh, but for once it was said in earnest. Seems one of the trapeze performers in this play about the circus flopped on his face, knocking his unconscious, hence Hattie's request for medical assistance. The story stuck with Mrs. Warren for the rest of her 20 years as RCP Artistic Director.
