Tony Award winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots) is your guide through this brand new musical memoir of her upbringing in the Villa Satori, her psychedelic family home in the heart of San Francisco's Haight Ashbury. Her story recounting the trials and tribulations of growing up in a legendary hippie household is brought to life through intimate storytelling, interpretive dance, and humor-all set to a dizzyingly eclectic soundtrack that features classical, soul, new wave, punk rock, and more. Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA (EVUSA), one of New York's preeminent choral ensembles, comprises a highly talented mix of seasoned professionals and auditioned volunteers. For this special performance, Judith will lead an twenty-voice ensemble in a sing along of traditional carols and holiday songs by Broadway's finest: Lynn Ahrens, Chad Beguelin, Irving Berlin, Ralph Blane, Jerry Bock, Cy Coleman, Stephen Flaherty, Sheldon Harnick, Jerry Herman, Frank Loesser, Hugh Martin, Joe Raposo, Matthew Sklar, Meredith Willson and David Zippel, In addition, they will perform highlights from their new CD (released October, 2015),Holiday Harmonies: Song of Christmas.
