In an interview with Eonline, Mark Hamill spoke about the possibility of reprising his iconic role of Luke Skywalker for the upcoming 7th edition of the STAR WARS franchise. Speaking on behalf of himself and costar Carrie Fischer, the actor commented, "We have questions about it. And really, they're not even at the stage where they're able to answer those questions because, as far as I know, is there a story yet?"

Commenting on his cast mates from George Lucas' first three installments of the franchise, Hamill shared, "I loved all those people, I really did. Until I know more about what they have in mind, I think it's better to let Lucas Film make the announcements."

The 61-year-old actor gave his opinion as to who should be cast as a younger version of Skywalker in the sci-fi flick. "If they were going to do a story where Luke was too young or too old for me to play, they would get an age appropriate actor. There's so many good people."

As far as the suggestion of Ryan Gosling or Bradley Cooper stepping into the iconic role of Hans Solo, Hamill replied, "All of them are good. I love actors, number one. There's probably nobody that you could name that I don't like, depending on what it is they're in. Too many to chose just one."
