Tickets to Opera San Jose's 2015-16 Season on Sale 7/27

All tickets for Opera San José's 2015-16 season will go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 9 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.operasj.org or by phone at 408.437.4450 or in-person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at our corporate headquarters, 2149 Paragon Drive, San Jose, CA 95131.
Guerilla Opera Sets 2015-16 Season

In their ninth season, Guerilla Opera will premiere two operas: Troubled Water by Mischa Salkind-Pearl and libretto by Frederick Choi in September 2015 and Beowulf by Hannah Lash in May 2016, as well as engage in an artistic residency with New Music Brandeis at Brandeis University in April 2016.

Lyric Opera of Chicago launches its new season with the 15th annual Stars of Lyric Opera at Millennium Park concert at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 11, at 7:30 p.m. The free outdoor performance, presented in cooperation with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, annually attracts capacity crowds of 16,000 to the pavilion, great lawn, and surrounding areas of the park.

The Metropolitan Opera on Sirius XM (Channel 74) will honor the memory of the late Canadian tenor Jon Vickers, who passed away last week, by playing seven of his greatest Met performances in rotation throughout the week of July 20. The legendary dramatic tenor gave 280 Met performances during his career with the company, which spanned 27 years and included 17 different roles.
