Littlefield will present Generous Laughs 2020: A RAICES Benefit Show, returning Wednesday January 15th, two years after its first iteration in 2018 benefitting the Pride Fund to End Gun Violence. This year's event will benefit RAICES, an incredible non-profit defending the rights of immigrants and refugees while empowering individuals, families, and communities through advocacy, education, and legal services.

Anderson and his dance theatre X company from January 8 -January 11 at the Kumble Theater in Brooklyn. The celebration brings together artists and civic leaders to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. King. The 34th annual celebration will feature the creator of New York Times Magazine's acclaimed 1619 Project Nikole Hannah-Jones as keynote speaker. Additional free film, art, and music events are also scheduled on the BAM campus over the preceding weekend.

In anticipation of the BAM Karen-the organization's new venue within 300 Ashland Place-BAM will redefine and elevate programming roles to reflect a broader vision for the organization. BAM Karen will include three new cinemas, a permanent home for the BAM Hamm Archives-including the Shelby White & Leon Levy Reading Room-and the Samuel H. Scripps Education Center. The new spaces are named in honor of longtime BAM president, Karen Brooks Hopkins, and are slated to open in 2021.
