Primary Trust, the 2024 Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama by Eboni Booth, will have its regional premiere at Barrington Stage Company from September 18 to October 13. Directed by Jennifer Chang, the production features a cast including Kyle Haden as Bert, C. David Johnson as Clay/Sam, Hilary Ward as Corinna, and Justin Weaks as Kenneth. The play centers on Kenneth, a bookstore worker whose life shifts after a layoff, prompting him to confront his past and connect with others amidst societal change.

June 20, 2025 Greg Reiner will be the new Managing Director of Barrington Stage Company. Reiner, who most recently served as Director of Theater and Musical Theater at the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), joins BSC as of August 4, 2025.

What is the history of Barrington Stage Company ?
Barrington Stage Company is the fastest-growing arts venue in Berkshire County, attracting more than 60,000 patrons each year. Co-founded by Artistic Director Julianne Boyd in 1995, BSC continues to gain national recognition for its superior-quality productions and comprehensive educational programming. In its first 11 years, BSC operated from rented space at the Consolati Performing Arts Center at Mount Everett High School in Sheffield, MA.
