First Monday at Jordan Hall is a beloved concert series founded in 1985 by cellist Laurence Lesser, now in its second season under Artistic Co-chairs Nicholas Cords, Soovin Kim, and HaeSun Paik. The 2026-2027 season celebrates the 90th birthdays of composers Philip Glass and Steve Reich and the 150th birthdays of violist Lionel Tertis and cellist Pablo Casals. Featured performers include faculty pianists Dang Thai Son and Alessio Bax, the Borromeo String Quartet, the Paddington Trio, and the Katarina String Quartet.
