Cape Rep Theatre continues its 2018 season with the Broadway musical sensation, MAMMA MIA!, music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, and some songs with Stig Anderson, book by Catherine Johnson, originally conceived by Judy Cramer, August 1 through September 2: Tuesdays, Todays and Thursdays at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. The Huntington Announces New England Premiere Of SPAMILTON

Huntington Theatre Company will present the New England premiere of the hit musical comedy Spamilton: An American Parody at the Wimberly Theatre in the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA in Boston's South End, from February 12 to March 10, 2019. Spamilton joins the 2018 - 2019 season as a special added event. Tickets are now on sale only to Huntington subscribers; any remaining tickets will be made available for sale to the public in December.

After developmental productions that drew high praise from prominent theatre critics, and left audiences alternately speechless and effusive, engaged and enraged, the Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Eleanor Burgess's explosive new play, The Niceties, running August 31 to October 6 at the South End/Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. The Huntington is pleased to produce the play in association with two other leading theatre companies. The production will move Off Broadway to Manhattan Theatre Club immediately following the Boston run, and then continue on to Princeton, NJ for performances at McCarter Theatre Center.

Enter Evan, an impressionable new employee/high school student intrigued by the pair's unconventional charm. While the two impart their 'wisdom' on their new, young friend, life's great pleasures like literature and music are savored along with its bitter brew.

In conjunction with her Perlmutter residency, the Rose will host Smillie's first solo museum exhibition. Organized by Assistant Curator Caitlin Julia Rubin, Tuesday Smillie: To build another world will be on view September 7 through December 2, 2018.
