I second this request! An exact title or ISBN number would be extremely helpful.

I also have the 101 Greatest Shows of All Time and do recommend it as well. Just a lot of fun looking through it and reading about the original shows I have seen revivals of.

Heads up - I found the Great Comet coffee table book at Barnes & Noble today for $10! It was 75% off in the clearance section!

The few books I have are: Hollywood Musicals, Wicked: The Grimmerie, Sunset Boulevard, The Color Putple, Tarzan: The Broadway Adventure, The Lion King: Pride Rock On Broadway, New Amsterdam and AIDA.

I just ordered the three new TLK books, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, and Dear Evan Hansen’s. I have toyed with the idea of getting Hamilton and The Great Comet even though I know next to nothing of both shows. The creation of Broadway shows is such a fascinating thing to me and I reread these books often!

There's a really beautiful book that I can't recall the name of that features black and white photography of various actors in costume, usually backstage. I believe Alan Cumming as the Emcee is featured on either the front or back cover. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

There's a secondhand book store near my college where I picked up a copy of The Story of Miss Saigon. It's a smaller book, but it's quite nice!

Has anyone seen or heard anything about a coffee table book for Frozen? I thought by now the Aladdin one was up for preorder so thought Frozens might be too.

I have:

The Producers: How We Did It

Hairspray: The Roots

Broadway Bares: Backstage Pass

Then I got tired of buying them so I stopped there. :P

Frozen should be on it’s way in the next few months, I’d imagine. In November they’re releasing the third edition of How Does the Show Go On?: Frozen Edition.

Not that there’s much to talk about with this adaptation. It’s the, uh...“simplest” they’ve probably ever done.

The Great Comet and Tommy books are great! There’s a wonderful book if you like poster art called A Must See that talks all about theater posters and includes some interesting flop ones that didn’t even open like Colette and Alice starring Debbie Allen. I would love a coffee table book about Carrie (from the RSC version to the version that played at the Lortel) and one about Little Shop of Horrors. There is “The Little Shop of Horrors Book” but it could have used a lot more pics and some color, it would be great to have one that went into detail on BOTH films, the Florida version with Alice Ripley, the broadway revival, the Encores version and both major revivals ahead of us if I’m being greedy. Finally let’s get one on The Mystery of Edwin Drood!

Another day, another dollar is the reality of my mentality. Otherwise, don't even bother.- TLC

There are several copies of the "Mary Poppins" book on EBay at what seem like very low prices. (If they don't currently offer international shipping, sometimes you can negotiate an international shipping fee with the seller. I have done that before.)

It’s not exactly Broadway but Darcy Bussel has a gorgeous coffee table book.

I was thinking the same thing!  If any show deserves a line-by-line analysis by the author, it's Hadestown.
