I would definitely never tell people to not see something, even if I didn't enjoy it. Some shows I ended up enjoying a lot were unfavorably reviewed here or in general. If anything, Carousel has a really gorgeous score. Hearing it was the highlight for me.

I think I overheard an usher telling someone after it was over that he'll be in tomorrow's matinee as well. They were talking about him leaving and coming back, which is what

Was at tonight's show and to my surprise,Tony Shalhoub was in. I wasn't expecting that at all. Is it normal for him to do a show here and there or is it probably more for Tony voters now? They put in an extra special card for him since he isn't listed in the Playbill anymore.

I saw the matinee today. I was unimpressed with most of it. The score is the best part. I felt pretty bored during many of the scenes of just dialogue. Some of the scenery was good, but most was just average. I liked Lindsay Mendez the best of the whole cast. But, I definitely don't care to see this again. I think it is just this production though because I've seen it before and do enjoy the Shirley Jones movie.

^ That is a good point too. Broadway.com at least is a legitimate place to buy tickets. And it sounds like these were really good seats.

That's your answer right there. Broadway.com is a ticket broker, so they are going to charge a lot for fees and tickets. Always best to go to original source to buy like ticketmaster or telecharge. Or in the case of My Fair Lady, Lincoln Center.

$35 is a true bargain! I paid 10x that! When I sat in similar seats to yours for The King and I, it was kinda cool to see the ship proceed across the stage from that vantage point."
I'm planning a trip to Boston this summer and was looking at options for shows to see while there. I found this show listed on Goldstar at the Cutler Majestic theatre and went to look up more information about it to see what it was about. I see that it has played in DC and other places. Is it worth seeing? Or is it not worth it? Or is it so bad it might be funny to see? Cheapest tickets for my dates are $20.
The theaters essentially are between 8th ave & Broadway, running from 41st to 54th streets with a few on the east side of Broadway and the Beaumont up at 65th. Essentially it surrounds Times Square. Best bet is to walk through street by street and see what you find interesting to photograph.

I can vouch that the Hostelling International in Boston is great. I stayed there last year. It is within walking distance of most of the theaters. I say most because I don't know what else is around and know A.R.T is in Cambridge. Also a short walk from South Station. And I did see a lot of families and folks older than their 20's staying there. Maybe it's different than other hostels I've stayed in because you can buy a membership to stay at their locations globally. But, it wasn't a party atm

Was debating between going back to Boston to see this or waiting for a Broadway run, but the casting definitely sold me. Also, there is no guarantee of Broadway, though I realize it is being mentioned. Going July 11th. & seeing Jagged Little Pill in the same trip.

1. Jesus Christ Superstar-as a whole, this was the best executed for me. Unfortunately, it isn't 1 of my favorites of Andrew Lloyd Webber. If I was going by story, Grease would have been #1.
2. Grease
3. The Wiz
4. Hairspray
5. The Sound of Music- Loved the Broadway stars & Carrie Underwood sang the music fine.
6. A Christmas Story- This only ranks higher than Peter Pan because Jane Krakowski was good. Was overall just a bad show to me.
7.
Broadway Twins? Mar 30

While they don't have extensive Broadway credits, Brooke and Tiffany Engen. I'm assuming they are better remembered for playing Noreen and Doreen in the film, Hairspray. Though, I did catch Brooke in the Broadway production in 2008. I think she played Amber.
While I greatly admire his accomplishments, I'm here to tell you that I also managed to survive several decades without him."
But some of us weren't privileged to live during that time. He was only 4 when I was born, but it still proves that I have never lived in the world without him, so that makes him even more important and better.
I remember seeing this advertised for PBS and was wondering why it was being brought to Broadway if they were airing it there. It does look bad from this video.

Thanks for the laugh. This definitely is not something I am planning to see, but was hoping to at least get some opinions from those who have. They made it look like it was going to be similar to the Trans-siberian Orchestra, but I'm guessing that's better than this.

I watched. Certainly not a favorite of mine from the 1st episode, but I am willing to see if it gets better.
Did anyone else find the lighting in most scenes to be too dark? I don't think it was my tv. But, it was kind of hard to make out details and that I find bad. Like the scene with the religious family eating dinner. I thought they looked like creepy plastic people because I couldn't see the features of their eyes very well. I think if that stays the style, it could be very off pu

Looks like the driver has claimed she has a "medical condition."If being a sociopath qualifies as having a medical condition, then yeah....

Yeah, I was questioning that. This isn't her first offense and had sped through school zones bef

I definitely think the weather was a big factor. My power went out on Friday early afternoon and was not restored until almost 5pm today. They originally were estimating Wednesday night. But, it still is a mess here in northwest NJ.
