Thanks for he heads up. Was planning on buying these in the morning. All the center orchestra are premium but picked up a first row center Loge for $100 cheaper than the premium. Never been to this theater but that looks like a good seat. The loge is almost totally unsold on multiple dates

Just a tip for those buying LincTix - if you select the option to see other seats on a given performance, you may be given a better seat than what originally pops up. I was originally offered for F was off to the side. After slicking see other seats on this date, I was offered front row closer to the middle!

Thanks for the heads up on LincTix being on sale. Grabbed two seats for the first preview on my birthday. I was given two options only, far off to the side in the 100s and the 500s. I settled on the 500s in row D since they were slightly closer to center and not in the front row. Not ideal, but I'm just excited to have gotten tickets at that price at all.

Also excited because this is kicking off my long weekend of MFL on Thursday, Mean Girls on Friday, and Angels marathon on Saturday (with bonus Harry Potter two weeks later). Planning on adding Carousel at some point. March is shaping up nicely.

Thank you for the heads up! I thought it would be released at noon since on Sundays the box office opens at noon. I just grabbed two tickets in row F. It seems to me the front row is Row C? I guess they removed rows A & B?

Finally arranged my NYC trip, got 2 member front row loge seats for Sunday 5/13. I've sat there before, and it's perfectly fine. Orchestra seats being offered this week are rotten, only in side sections. I made that mistake once, when CAROUSEL was on years ago, and watched the back of the stage through most of the performance. Sections 100 and 500 should be avoided, imo.

If I buy a Linctix ticket is there a way for me to buy a companion ticket for someone who is not eligible for Linctix?

99pandas - You’ll probably not be able to sit together. Through the LincTix site, it will only list the LincTix block of seats. You’ll have to book separately for the regular seat.

Thanks for the heads up on the LincTix being on sale early this morning! I was able to snag two for the week before the Tonys (row row house right). Honestly I don’t mind the view - can’t beat front row for $35.

Hairspray, it must be your connection or IP. I just got LincTix in under 2 minutes and I was able to check availability on Telecharge.

I agree. Plus we don't know how they'll do the staging yet. I used Linctix to see King and I a few years ago and I was in extreme sides orchestra and felt it was perfectly fine for the price!

I couldn't see spending all that money for a show unseen and unreviewed. I picked up a $35 all the way on the sides but front row. Who knows but I'm willing to take the chance.

How much are we thinking LCT is holding off on certain rows/chunks of tickets? It looks like seats in the 3 centermost orchestra sections are pretty sparse for most spring performances, but I'm thinking of waiting until later in the fall/early winter to see if new rows pop up. Thoughts on the likelihood?

Surprisingly, I've never seen a show at the Vivian Beaumont. I opted for an $87 seat in the last row of the center loge, E 308, dead center. I know it's high up, but what's the consensus on the loge seating there?

For the member sale, they definitely held back some of the best seats. I saw a great center orchestra seat today on Telecharge in the 300 section and they would not exchange my member seat in the 400 section for it. And as a member, I have sat in that section for both Junk and Oslo. I am thinking that members may have purchased a lot of the non-premium priced seats for Spring since the premiums were blocked at the time.

As long as you're not on the extreme sides, views are typically really good from any of the seat sections. You'll be a little far from the stage, but won't miss a thing. The rake in seating is very steep - I always think of it as almost a vertical wall (it's an exaggeration, but speaking relative to some of the theaters with little to no rake, it really does feel like it). This picture can you an idea.

Thanks! I'm short, so a steep rake is always a good thing. In the center loge, rows D and E are almost half the price of A-C, so, for me, it was a no-brainer.

I went with a Saturday matinee. I realize that's a questionable choice not knowing Lauren's stamina, but it was the only one of two dates that wasn't giving me the same seats four rows back, two seats from the stage. I usually don't go to matinees. I hope the crowd's okay.

You'll be fine. Vivian Beaumont is a smaller theater than other Bway houses and depending on the staging, every seat has great sightlines.

I bought a Linctix ticket and will be sitting 4th row extreme sides orchestra but can't complain. I've seen King & I and Oslo in the same theater in similar seats and never had an issue (sure at time I see the backside of an actor singing or talking) but overall I still have a great experience!

I think Telecharge blocked me because I was able to buy my ticket over LTE connection, instead of wifi.  Though, every other website is working for wifi so it must just be telecharge. so weird. Anyway--bought LincTix for a saturday matinee, front row (100s section)!  Can't wait!

I almost forgot about this. I got a ticket for April 14th in row C of the 500 section. I sat in that area for The King and I, so I'm hoping it will be fine for this production.

How is that an "ew"? She's not an entire unknown, and frankly, most of us were expecting her to be cast.
