Urie is such a self-important host. Get to the awards, dude.

Yeah, pretty sure they just took jokes that people have already tweeted and strung them together.

I hope WAR PAINT repeats that Costume win at the Tonys.

What a dumb comment.  He's doing what all hosts do (and doing a pretty damn good job doing it).  This thing is running pretty tight so far compared to most award shows.

Glad that it's running tight (and I'm a Urie fan, don't get me wrong), but the Russia monologue kept going on and on and on. And it wasn't witty or creative or new.

So great for Jane Greenwood! "I don't win awards" lol. Looks like this is her first win after 7 nominations. And that's nothing compared to her 22 Tony nominations with no wins so far (though she does have a lifetime achievement award). Keeping my fingers crossed she wins at the Tonys this year. Not just so that she finally gets a win, but also because the costume design in The Little Foxes is extraordinary.

And that's different from every other award show monologue... how?

Thrilled for Greenwood too! What an unbelievable career she's had (and her Foxes work is truly stunning).

Wait, "946" was considered a musical?? Who let that one slide? I saw it in London and I'd definitely categorize it was a play with music.

I'm sure that this has been discussed, but how is Great Comet eligible this year? Was the Ars Nova production ignored by the Drama Desks the year it premiered?

I am quite literally becoming whatever the opposite of a fan is for Michael Urie. Yikes. Talk about bad jokes and full of himself.

Yay! Anastasia's hideous, nauseating, and completely tasteless video design was just given an award, likely encouraging more productions to follow in their horrendously misguided footsteps!
