Mark Rylance : His movement , his accent his acting is nothing but amazing he clearly has skill. But what makes him even more amazing that he directed the Globe Theatre .
He proves you need skill to be on broadway.

Daniel Radcliff : For putting on the musical act of the decade.

If Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson gets best set design over Priscilla, Book of Mormon, How to Succeed, Anything Goes, or Women On The Verge, I will be very disappointed. Then again, American Idiot got best set design last year over Addams Family, La Cage, and Ragtime, and I thought that set was hideous. I tend to disagree with the Tony committee for best set design I guess.

If Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson is even nominated for that many awards, I will be very disappointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed BLOODY's set more than PRISCILLA and WOTV, solely because the latter two had a penchant for using video walls to create some backgrounds or effects. BLOODY's set also pretty threw up all over the theatre with the lights all over and the cow hanging from the ceiling, I loved it.

"Penchant for", darling. Not "penchant of". And you didn't really use the word correctly. But nice attempt.

See for me BBAJ was a great experience. I think the set was great! Like someone on this board said ,the set is throughout the entire theatre. It might not win because Priscilla has a great set, but it should deserve a nomination. I also think it should be up for Best Musical.

PRISCILLA did not have a great set, actually. The entire show was something that could have been transported easily from a cruiseship. I enjoyed ANDREW JACKSON more than a lot of people did and part of me hopes that it can get a nomination for score at least, which I doubt it will.

I enjoyed Priscilla well enough, but the set never screamed out "Tony nomination!" to me. 85% of the show, it's just the bus.

As much as I loathed Bloody, I wouldn't mind if their set received a nomination, actually.

You clearly just have no taste in musical theatre, Adam.

I think BBAJ should get Best Musical, Score, Lighting, Set Design, and Sound. I think if it will not win, it should get all of these nominations.

If there was an award for best Ensemble it would go right to BBAJ. they really deserved a better and longer run. It was a magical experience!

This is great. NOw I don't have to watch the Tony's.

Actually I lost all respect for the Tony's when they
picked Titanic over the Life
when they picked Douglas Hodge over Sean Hayes and Chad Kimball.

Legally Blone (which I detested) won best musical in the Olivier Awards.

We really shouldn't measure performances or theatre by who won an award.

You thought Chad Kimball deserved a Tony?

Promises, Promises and Memphis were probably to two most mediocre shows of last season. If Douglas Hodge didn't win for his talent, he should've won on principle.

Hated Douglas Hodge
Love Sean and Chad.
Absolutely. They both blew me away.

Thought HOdge was the worst Albin I have ever seen which includes
George Hearn, Keene Curtis, and two others at regional theatres.
I know there are a lot of people who loved Hodge. Obviously the Tony Commitee (but they seemed to love anything British.

Catherine Zeta Jones??? for example. Do you really think she deserved the Tony last year?

I liked her until her Tony's "Send In The Clowns". Defs to be appreciated from a distance, not on screen (at least where musicals are concerned).

(Cue Waymon Wong jumping in with his shilly, strident defense of the show.)

Wait, wait, wait....you have no problem with the cliched, predictable book for Memphis, but you take issue with the Sister Act book?

BLOODY's set was insane. Definitely deserving of a nod.
