Had my second shot of Moderna on Wednesday. Had the oddest headache about 4 hours later. Started in the back of my neck and worked its way up to the back of my head. Injection site became very Itchy.

Thankful nothing worse and thankful I was able to get both doses at Walgreens with no wait.

This will only be helpful to New Yorkers but Excelsior Pass is like a digital passport that shows proof of you being vaccinated. I think this will be very useful for future events.

I received my second Moderna yesterday.  Arm was sore.  Then around 10 pm I started getting chills.  Turned my heating blanket on (April in Florida !)  and started getting aches.  Took my ambien and went to sleep.  Got up this morning and thought I felt fine.  As day progressed,  the aches reappeared.  Nothing extreme, but overall feel blah.

I had my second Moderna shot on Tuesday and pretty much had the same experience.  I went to bed with a sore arm and woke up around 3:00 am with severe chills. Closed my windows and turned the heat up! When I woke up I was extremely lethargic throughout the day and had body aches and a minor headache. The chills came and went throughout the day.  Woke up yesterday morning drenched in sweat so I must have broken a fever.  The only symptom I still had was lack of energy.  Last night I finally regained my energy, and today I feel 100% back to normal.   Those symptoms were worth it to be vaccinated!

So.  I am 74 and had my first Moderna shot two days ago.  Side effects:  a bit of soreness at the injection site; feeling somewhat wobbly; and minor tiredness.  Still a little tired, but the other two symptoms are gone (and I resumed my daily walk/run this morning).  Will receive the second shot in early May.

Chills came and went, same with headache, in a general state of lethargy now.

I got my 2nd dose of Pfizer yesterday so almost 27 hours ago now. Main symptoms have been a sore arm, fatigue, and some mental fuzziness. I took the day off yesterday and am staying home today as well but I've still been able to function fully so far. A couple of friends had recommended electrolytes so I spent yesterday and the day before alternating between drinking water and Powerade. I'm not sure if that helped but it didn't seem to hurt either.

In regards to the laminating, I also read that it's most likely booster shots would come with a separate card. I'm leaning towards getting my card laminated but I know there are also plastic sleeves you can buy instead so you can just remove the card as needed but still keep it protected.

I think it was Jordan who wrote don't plan anything for the day after your second shot.  Correct sir!  And I'm having trouble sleeping again.

I know this was brought up last week. I noticed this on CNN this morning.

Got my first shot today(Moderna). Arm felt a little numb at first but it went away. Now just with a slight headache and feeling tired. See how I feel tomorrow.

Day 2 had me feeling tired all day. Day 3 and I feel fine. Hopefully that's it until I get shot #2.

Got my 2nd pfizer shot yesterday. My arm hurts & I slept yesterday afternoon. Nothing crazy. I feel fine right now, so I am going to work. I guess I'll see if I continue to feel okay today.

Of course after reading comments online from anti-vaxxers & looking up the stories of extreme cases of bad side effects, I started to worry that they were right. But, I realize these things can happen with any vaccine and are generally rare.

The only thing I'm slightly disappointed about is that my job has not lifted quarantine restrictions for traveling out of state for fun. Like going to NYC for a day is fine, but overnight is not. I get wanting to be cautious, but it means not wanting to plan a vacation , unless I know I don't have to add 2 weeks at home on top of it.

I just received my first dose of Pfizer at 1 pm this afternoon. My arm isn't sore but I feel light-headed and mentally fuzzy and lethargic. Hoping this is all I experience. I had COVID last year and it wasn't pretty.

I am so happy to hear you got your first shot. And I am so sorry to hear you got sick last year. I had a very tough November as well. BTW the side effects of the second shot were very intense for me. Something I understand is common with people that already had Covid. Have some Tylenol handy. Be well.

Thank you DAME. My arm started really feeling sore and then the soreness to my extremities began with slight chills and headache. I popped 2 Tylenol, powered everything down and went to sleep.

I woke up sore this morning with soreness to my arm and my extremities/joints, a slight headache, no chills - - - and no fever. I am hoping and praying this is the worst of it.

My second dose is scheduled for May 14th and I am really worried, because I am hearing that the side effects from the second dose are worse, especially in people who already had COVID.  I don't ever want to feel the way I did last year when I had COVID at the very beginning of the pandemic. It was very touch and go, I was alone and I was scared.

I got my second Moderna shot on Wednesday. My arm was sore and I was pretty fatigued by the end of the day. The sore arm and general fatigue continued through Thursday, with some very slight muscle/joint aches, but nothing that kept me down (was still able to get my puppy to her final training class for graduation on Thursday night). If I ever did develop a fever it was too low to be noticeable. I'm super thankful that I never had any crazy side effects from it and am looking forward to slowly crawling back to normalcy.

I had my first AZ shot on Thursday and no reaction[same as my yearly flu shot], maybe no sense no feeling!

My 2nd AZ shot is in 3 months and probably like the flue shot will need a booster every year, who knows.

I had my 2nd Pfizer dose this past Tue followed by mild loss of hand-eye coordination an hour or so afterwards.  A nap took care of that though.  There's still a swollen lymph node in my left armpit which was the injection side.  It doesn't bother me until I fully extend my left arm.  Not enthused by the prospect of a required annual booster shot, but if it comes to that then so be it.

Had my second Moderna vaccination this morning.  I'm more than willing to accept any possible side effects knowing that the vaccine will help keep me alive.  Can't complain about that.

The President is scheduled to speak about the pandemic and vaccinations today.
