Especially ironic that this show contains the actual line, "I WANT MY MONEY BACK!"

Anyone who actually believes this is going to happen is [fill in the blank here].

I think they (like all Broadway shows still open) will start rehearsals in January and open next March.

Most of those people rub elbows with pedophiles, corrupt politicians, and more, so it’s always been strange to me whenever people single certain actors out."

Great - cancel them ALL.

And Highland - I lived on military bases through my entire childhood. Did not come out of it brainwashed. I know the difference between someone who perpetuates a false image of themselves (Jackman) vs someone who doesn't (Harry Connick, Jr., for example). And I will always support the latter.

What planet are you from? There is no way that anything is opening in 2020. Dream if you want, but you will be in for a huge disappointment. I have already adjusted my expectations, and it has actually helped. I have not received refunds for MMand a couple of shows I already had tickets for in the fall, but I know that I will at some point. It will not just be a risk for theatre cast and crew, as well as audiences. It willbe a huge risk for theatre owners who fear opening prematurely will further delay the eventual real re-opening, and maybe even sour people to theatre attendance if there is any indication that theater attendance caused an increasein cases (and even deaths) as so many people who attend the theatre regularly are older, and more vulnerable.
"

I said it’s not out of the realm of possibility for late this year because it’s not. Do I think it will likely be delayed, would Spring be a better time and certainly realistic, yes, yes and yes. But as of right now, it’s not indeed out of the realms of possibility,

It IS out of the realm of possibility, sorry. Best to find another battle to wage.

I don't share your opinion.  We're both entitled to have different opinions.  But I will say your response here did make me laugh.

Sutton - When I asked my industry friends (agent w/ talent in most musicals and producer's associate) the general consensus seems to be that at this time... to rehearse Jan-Feb ~ reopen or open March-April.

Thanks Robbie, it seems to make the most sense. Such a long time but when it's back in full swing? How thrilling it will all be!

Thank you, and I'll take a shared laugh with you over needing to be "right" any day. xx

I wonder how they would handle ticketing. I have tickets for this on March 5 of 2021. Let's say they start previews early March, would they just honor the March and April tickets and start selling past that? Or would they wipe the slate clean?

I don't understand why not many seem to share the same excitement it would be to have beetlejuice triumphantly reopen.

OMG go outside and bury your playbill, say a prayer and just say goodbye so you can FINALLY start the grieving process you kids clearly need in order to get over the fact that the show closed. I hope you don’t continue to be theater fans because I fear for y’all’s mental health when this happens again. And again. And again. Because that’s the business no matter how much it hurts your heart.
