19/40. I guess I thought I'd been to more, but apparently I've made a lot of return visits.
Gershwin Palace (2x) Hilton Wilson (2x) St. James (2x) Rodgers Marquis (3x) Booth (3x) Simon Kerr Belasco Hirschfeld O'Neill (2x) Freidman Jacobs Sondheim (2x) Broadway Music Box (3x) American Airlines
You are the coolest Jordan! Btw how long did it take you to go to all forty? I need two more and I think i will have been to all of them within the next year so that would make it around seven years for me.
I dunno. I saw my first broadway show in '95 (Beauty & the Beast) and the last theater I needed I go to to complete the set was the Ambassador which I did a couple years ago.
I have seen shows at the American Airlines,Brooks Atkinson,Ethel Barrymore,Vivian Beaumont,Booth,Broadhurst Theatre,Broadway,Circle in the Square,Cort,Foxwoods,Gershwin,Golden,Al Hirschfeld,Imperial,Jacobs,Walrer Kerr,Lunt-Fontanne,Marquis,Minskoff,Music Box,Nederlander,New Amsterdam,Eugene O'Neil,Palace,St.James,Richard Rodgers,Schoefield,Shubert,Neil Simon,Stephen Sondheim and Winter Garden. That is 33 out of 40.
I've been to 31: I'm mostly missing the smaller houses: Ambassador (Chicago) Booth (N2N, Other Desert Cities" Broadhurst (Les Miz) Broadway (Miss Saigon, Sister Act, Cinderella) Circle in the Square (Godspell) Cort (Stick Fly) Foxwoods (42nd Street, Spiderman) Gershwin (Wicked) Golden (Avenue Q) Hayes (Rock of Ages) Hirschfield (Hair, H$S) Imperial (Les Miz, August) Jacobs (Raisin in the Sun, Once) Longacre (Boeing Boeing) Lunt Fontanne (Beauty and the Beast, Motown) Majestic (The Phantom) Marquis (Follies) Minskoff (The Lion King) Music Box (August, Pippin) Nederlander (Rent, Newsies) New Amsterdam (Lion King, Poppins) O'Neill (Nine, Spring Awakening, Mormon) Palace (Aida, West Side Story) Rodgers (Movin' Out, In the Heights) St. James (Producers) Schoenfeld (Brooklyn, Chorus Line, Gore Vidal's Best Man) Shubert (Memphis) Neil Simon (The Music Man) Sondheim (Anything Goes) Wilson (Jersey Boys) Winter Garden (Mamma Mia!)
All except August Wilson and Majestic. I've run out of shows to see so I am seeing Phantom soon at the Majestic although I've seen the touring show many times.
Since I saw Jersey Boys on tour once and wouldn't be able to sit through it again, I suppose the AW will be my spoiler. Unless everyone tells me the theater upstages the show.
25/40! I'm surprised because I thought it would be much lower, guess I've been to more shows than I remember. I definitely have a new goal, now that I've made a list!
all except Gershwin(which I might knock out by finally giving in and seeing WICKED when Lindsey Mendez comes in) and the Winter Garden (which i'll cross off when I see ROCKY)
22 for me over the course of a little more than 5 years.
Lunt-Fontanne (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Addams Family, Ghost) Gershwin (Wicked) Minskoff (The Lion King) Palace (Legally Blonde) Brooks-Atkinson (Grease, Peter and the Starcatcher) Neil Simon (Hairspray, Catch Me if You Can) Jacobs (13, Once) Winter Garden (Mamma Mia!) Imperial (Billy Elliot) Marquis (9 to 5, Evita) New Amsterdam (Mary Poppins) August Wilson (Jersey Boys) Booth (Next to Normal Sondheim (Bye Bye Birdie) St. James (American Idiot) Majestic (The Phantom of the Opera) Shubert (Memphis) Broadway (Sister Act) Al Hirschfeld (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) Foxwoods (Spider-man Turn Off the Dark) Eugene O'Neill (The Book of Mormon) Nederlander (Newsies)
