SEA WALL/A LIFE to Broadway Sep 13

I saw this last night through today tix rush, dress circle second to last row dead center. View was great but I thought this was a total waste of my time and was quite disappointed.
I like Jake a lot and I thought his story was the better of the 2 but I didn't like the material for either. I usually enjoy more serious / dark plays but this one just didn't connect with me at all.
If you want to see it on the "cheap" $83 for a pair after fees on the today tix rush is the way to g

The lease is up so I'm guessing they were asking for an unreasonable increase in rent to the point where it's not viable to put shows on anymore.
Mark Hellinger Theater returning? Times Square Church looking for larger space? Aug 29

I really hope they don't turn Playstation theater into more retail, it's been one of the best music venues in the city for quite awhile now. It sucks that they aren't renewing the lease but I'm guessing that's because AEG is just going to move most of their shows to Webster Hall now that's reopened.
Hopefully someone else keeps it as a music venue but I'm not counting on it. Would make a great theatre space as well. Anything but retail would be a blessing.

Just got the email confirming I lost them all, oh well. Doesn't mention anything about more tickets getting released in case people don't confirm.

I lost the 7th as well so only 1 show to go. Hopefully some people don't confirm in the hour time frame and those tickets get thrown back out.
After losing the online lotto 324 times I finally won on a second chance offer because someone else didn't purchase in time. By far the worst luck I've ever had with an online lotto but I'm excited to finally see the show, it's the only show from that season that I haven't seen because I had been trying to win the lotto since it opened lol
Peter Dinklage in Cyrano Aug 27

Thanks for posting that, I'm really glad I went with row B now, I was debating between that and the last row.

I was able to get row b seats 8/10 for the $97 price, it says nothing about it being partial view and row c seat 8 was the $177 range for one seat behind. I really can't imagine there being that big of a difference in view for one seat.
Also very happy I didn't go with the subscription and waited for the on sale instead. It really didn't sell as quickly as I was expecting.
Damon Daunno in Oklahoma! Aug 17

I didn't care either way who I saw but Denver Milord was in for Damon on Thursday night and I thought he was fantastic.
The person who took the picture should have said something, I'm even more surpised the person in that seat didn't say anything because I certainly would have.

I searched high and low and couldn't find anything regarding it on their website. If not, does anyone know what how much the cheapest tickets would be? I'd love to go, but only if they price is decent. Thanks!"
Broadway Joe: There are always plenty of tix for subscribers if you log in on the first day or so of subscriber access. If you wait too long you can get shut out of something popular.
Other than Charity, we have been mighty disappointed in New Group's shows (Whirligig, All The Fine Boys, Daddy, Clueless, etc) during those two subscriptions, so although this appealed to us we aren't planning to sign up again. We might buy C

I've never subscribed to anything before but if you do and there aren't tickets available do they refund you for that show? Just in case Cyrano is already all sold out. I'm thinking about signing up for the 4 show package to gurantee Cyrano
I can't really see it happening nowadays. The closest thing I remember in recent years was Elling with Brendan Fraser, Dennis O'Hare and Jennifer Coolidge from 2010.
Not counting previews, opening night was November 21st and it closed November 29th with only 9 performances.
I actually saw the show and didn't think it was as bad as it was made out to be at that time. I've definitely seen much worse.
