I just watched the "Flower Drum Song" reunion and I fell out when Seth referred to Jose Llana as "gurl" - he needs to reign it in...but I give Llana credit for keeping a straight face. Very telling that when David Henry Hwang changed his onscreen name from "David Hwang" to "David Henry Hwang" he added his pronouns (he/him)...LOL

Seth can come off as slightly disingenuous. He clearly fakes "shock and surprised" about things he clearly already knows about - - - he does it constantly. He also has this annoying tendency to be a "know it all" and then turns out to get his facts wrong like the time he had the audacity to "correct" Valerie Bertenelli and tell her that Bonnie Franklin won a Tony for her performance in "Applause" when she clearly did not.

He needs to reign it in a bit...his "fan girly" schtick is tired and I wind up hitting mute ALOT!

probably the maim thing I dislike about Seth is that he thinks he knows EVERYTHING about every Broadway show and Broadway performer. He's been corrected a few times during "Stars In The House" and then goes into his snippy comments. I often enjoy the show a bit more when there's a guest host on.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley's ''Stars in the House'' hosted last night's ''Next to Normal'' reunion, and it's the most memorable and moving one I've seen. Even before it began, I guessed ''It's Gonna Be Good.'' But the lovefest among its cast was so incredible, and it was fun to see them react to one another. Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Aaron Tveit, Jennifer Damiano, Adam Chanler-Berat and Louis Hobson revealed how they got involved with the show; shared stories of backstage antics, and offered insights about their portrayal of family dynamics and mental health.

Tom Kitt, its Tony-winning composer, popped up as a surprise guest. And the close-knit cast gave their share of shoutouts to Brian Yorkey, Michael Greif, Brian D'Arcy James, Michael Berry, Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, Kyle Dean Massey, Meghann Fahy and more.

As devoted fans donated during the podcast, they included touching testimonials of how ''Next to Normal'' deeply affected them. One fan told Tveit: ''Aaron, N2N changed my life. You changed my life. I came out transgender 6 years ago and named myself [Aaron] after you.'' Spencer added that he knew of a man who had lost his wife to cancer; that man came to see ''Next to Normal'' 40 times and claimed it helped heal his heart.

In the show, Diana sings ''I Miss the Mountains.'' I miss this special show and this cast. But what a reunion. ''How could I forget?''

The ganging up on Louis' hair was super awkward.  He was clearly uncomfortable.

Did Adam Chanler-Berat or Jennifer Damiano speak last night outside of reading off love notes to Aaron Tveit? I must've missed it. Cringefest. Updated On: 9/16/20 at 08:42 PM

Not sure what your issue is here -  Seth and James not asking any questions to Adam and Jenn or Aaron's costars complimenting him? Overall, I really enjoyed the reunion.

I finally got around to watching the N2N show last night and it brought me so much joy to see these actors interact and laugh with each other. N2N is a special show for me personally and it is evident that this was/is a close group who still care deeply for this show and for everyone involved. I thought Seth & James did a good job of engaging everyone with Bobby and Alice leading the discussion as "Mom & Dad" should. Bobby Spencer is an absolute hoot and he and Alice made sure to praise everyone in the cast. Aaron is the bigger name currently, but I didn't think he sought to monopolize the time. He sat quietly and laughed along with the others. Yes, there was a few "Aaron love-fest" moments, but he seemed more embarrassed and at times, humbled by it. And say what you want about the comments that came with the donations, but his base stepped up and donated, which is why they put these shows on in the first place.

Favorite moments included them reliving backstage antics, watching them laugh and enjoy each other, and hearing Bobby, Alice and Aaron sing. I also loved watching Alice react to Aaron singing "There's a World". To see how that song impacts her still was so moving.

PS.  Aaron is working on a new tv show in Vancouver evidently.  It will be interesting to see what that project is, how long his arc is and if this prevents him from participating in any Tony / NBC showcase performances by Moulin Rouge.

Enjoyed the N2N reunion as well. Really was interesting to hear all the changes that were made throughout it's history. Bobby's story and his connection with cast was heartwarming. I wonder if Aaron may opt to not return to MOULIN ROUGE whenever Bway returns.

I'd surprised if he opted out of MR. In the N2N, he mentioned doing something in Vancouver until Broadway returns. He seemed to be very happy to be back on Broadway which would make me think he stays with MR.

So do Seth & James continue hosting their show through May 2021? Maybe they take a hiatus soon?

I'm beginning to think they're running out of guests/reunions to do. Quite often they've gone dark one weeknight and this week they won't have a show on Wed or Thurs. How much longer do they keep this going?

Yeah. I don’t think anyone would blame them if they just switched to one or two nights a week. It was so ambitious of them to do this but if they keep with the “well have a show every night until broadway returns”, I just don’t know how that’s possible.

Yeah, once or twice a week would be fine by me. I would love if they went back to featuring one performer with a surprise guest or two. The reunions, while sweet, can be a bit chaotic.

They've mentioned certain reunions of shows that still haven't happened yet. Could be due to certain cast members not being available or not responding. They could easily just cut down to Mon-Thur now, though I'm sure their thought process is fewer shows = fewer donations.

The Hair concert reunion on Tuesday was great! Seth said they'll do a part 2 with other cast members as well. They're also planning reunions of most of the Actor's Fund concerts like Chess, Funny Girl and Dreamgirls.

The Glinda reunion was a lot of fun...I was most interested in Laura Bell Bundy talking about her time in the show. I don't think she really has spoken about it. She does the best Kristin Chenoweth impression. Nice to hear her.

Indeed.  Her Chenoweth impression was spot-on perfect. Sadly, Bundy only talked about the times she went on for Chenoweth as her standby.  She didn’t address the urban legend stories of her firing.  Other actors on their reunions have been open about such things so I was hoping she would be as well.  Nope.

Slight changes for Stars In The House at the beginning of the year. There will no longer be shows on Mondays. Tuesdays will be "Game Night". Seth & James both said on last night's show that they are planning on doing the show until Broadway re-opens (whenever that is).

Maybe they pull another together at some point, but it could've been too much to try and do one once a week.
