Video: BOCKING at Baltimore Center Stage
New footage previews the world premiere comedy now running in Baltimore.
A new trailer for BOCKING has arrived from Baltimore Center Stage, offering a first extended look at the comedy currently running on its mainstage. The preview leans into the show's chaotic premise, teasing a mix of family secrets, public image, religion, sex, shame, and, as the theatre puts it, "one mysterious chicken" that collide in what is billed as a fast-paced comedy that "absolutely refuses to behave."
BOCKING is written by Preston Crowder and directed by Stevie Walker-Webb, with the production presented by Lena Waithe.
The production marks a world premiere for Baltimore Center Stage and is currently playing through September 13.
The cast includes Kalen Allen, Marchánt Davis, Sis Thee Doll, Rebecca L. Hargrove, Adrienne C. Moore, Christopher Sears, and Lance Coadie William, as detailed in Baltimore Center Stage's earlier casting announcement. The new trailer arrives as the run continues, giving audiences a clearer sense of the tone and stakes behind the show's provocative premise.
