Spotlighters Theatre calls for an actress for a Baltimore Playwrights Festival production
ACTRESS NEEDED - Hammarskjold at Spotlighters Theatre
Rehearsals are in progress
Performance Dates: Aug 12 - Aug 29 - Thur, Fri, Sat - 8pm and Sun - 2pm
Charlie Merleau (Female, 40's - 60's) - This role was previously a male role and has changed to fit the development of the script. Charlie is a bisexual female, sexually aggressive, the Director of NY Security at the UN, cultured, a foodie and in love with her best friend of 20+ years. She's troubled by the fact that she can't be with him because he is gay and therefore enjoys sexually controlling men as a release for her frustration.
If the actress if not of the right age, we are willing to age her, though we'd prefer actresses at least in their 30's.
